Kashyap Won't Work With Aamir
Finally, Anurag Kashyap is talking about his 'rough' equation with Aamir Khan. The maverick filmmaker confirmed with SpotboyE- The Show in today's episode that a collaboration between Aamir and him is off his radar.

Anurag Kashyap has decided never to work with Aamir Khan, the actor who was supposed to head the cast of his upcoming film Bombay Velvet.

The story goes that unlike the buzz that Anurag asked Aamir to be a part of Bombay Velvet, it was Aamir who told Anurag that he would love to work with him on the film.

A source says, "Anurag gave him the script, but Aamir did not get back for nearly one-and-half year."

An infuriated Anurag then spoke to Ranveer Singh to step into Aamir's shoes and tied up with Fox Star Studios. But the studio in question told Anurag that Ranbir Kapoor should head the cast.

And just when Anurag had forgiven Aamir for keeping him waiting, Aamir pushed PK by six months to clash with Bombay Velvet around X'mas 2014 (earlier PK was scheduled to release in June).     .

While Anurag was actually not happy with the idea of releasing an expansive film like Bombay Velvet in X'mas (He told SpotboyE.com on December 16: I felt as if I was being forced to release Bombay Velvet early which I wasn't in favour of. I felt it was better to push the film to a later date. There was discomfort over that. But eventually, everyone saw reason in my thought), he was furious with Aamir's change in plan.

A source close to Anurag says, "Anurag felt that Aamir had played dirty with him because he started his film without him."

It was at this point of time that Anurag decided that he won't work with Aamir. Adds the friend, "And he still maintains that."

When asked if he would ever think of making a film with Aamir especially because of the history he shared with the actor over Bombay Velvet, Anurag told us rather firmly, "No, I don't see that happening."
